Jessica Raven

Jessica Raven is the Executive Director of Collective Action for Safe Spaces (CASS), a DC-based grassroots nonprofit working to make public spaces safer through advocacy, organizing, training, and arts activism. She is also the Co-Director of the Safe Bars program, a partnership between Collective Action for Safe Spaces, that teaches bar and restaurant staff to recognize and respond to harassment and prevent sexual assault. The program has more than 25 bar and restaurant partners in the DC area, and it has already expanded to cities like Philadelphia and parts of Colorado. In 2016, Raven was named one of DC's most interesting people by the Washington City Paper.
