Abigail Deirdre Gullo first fell into bartending when she learned to make a Manhattan (sweet) for her beloved grandfather., Vincent. Abigail's original cocktails have been recognized in numerous national and international competitions. Her cocktails have been featured in The New York Times, Imbibe, Garden & Gun among others. Abigail is a member of the United States Bartenders Guild and a proud supporter of the Museum of the American Cocktail in New Orleans. Eater Nola named her Bartender of the year in 2014 and she was Heaven Hill Brands Bartender of the Year 2016. When not behind the bar at Compere Lapin, or enjoying the fine city of New Orleans, Abigail is behind her computer screen blogging at www.ryegirlnyc.blogspot.com, petting her dog Ronnie, and dreaming of singing in a Rock-n-Roll band.
